Job Overview: 
We are looking for a Scrum Master & Product Designer to join our team in a dual role, combining the best of Agile leadership and user-centered design. You will play a key role in guiding our product teams through Scrum methodologies while also designing intuitive, user-friendly digital experiences. 
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of Agile processes, facilitation, and UX/UI design, ensuring our teams are both productive and user-focused. 

Primary Responsibilities: 
Scrum Master Responsibilities (50%) 
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, and Reviews). 
  • Coach teams in Agile best practices, improving collaboration and delivery efficiency. 
  • Remove impediments to ensure smooth product development. 
  • Monitor team performance using Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts, etc.). 
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize work effectively. 
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through regular feedback loops. 
 
 Product Design Responsibilities (50%) 
  • Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to identify pain points. 
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs that align with business goals. 
  • Develop and maintain design systems for consistency across products. 
  • Work closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs. 
  • Advocate for user-centric design and accessibility best practices. 
  • Iterate on designs based on feedback and data-driven insights. 

Skills: 
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Passion for both team efficiency and exceptional user experiences. 
  • Ability to context-switch between Agile facilitation and design execution. 
  • Collaborative, proactive, and problem-solving mindset. 

Education and Experience: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field. 
  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum master or Agile Coach. 
  • 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design, product design, or interaction design. 
  • Strong understanding of Scrum, and Agile frameworks. 
  • Proficiency in Agile tools. 
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PMI-ACP is a plus. 
  • Proficiency in similar design tools. 
  • Experience with user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing. 
  • Familiarity with front-end development concepts (HTML, CSS, React, etc.) is a plus. 
 
Working Conditions: 
  • Employee may sit for prolonged periods of time 
  • Prolonged periods of time viewing computer monitor and keyboarding 
  • Tight deadlines, with multiple and rapidly changing priorities 
  • Interacting with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Open office floor plan means noise and a regular flow of people around the office. 
  • Employee may be required to travel (overnight) as required. 

Hours Of Work: 
  • Workweeks are five days, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day, starting at 0800, 0830 or 0900, as agreed upon between the employee and their manager. 
  • Minimum hours of work each week is 40, unless otherwise agreed to between the employee and their manager. 
  • Employee may be required to work additional hours, including weekends.
